    So it's been something like 3 weeks. What do you guys think of the new rules?

    I'm a big hockey fan (I'm watching MTL vs Philly right now :) ) and honestly I like what I see so far. It's much more exciting! True, sometimes, half of the game is played on power plays, but aside from that I think the new rules makes for a better game.

    I haven't watched any games yet and I probably wont until the playoffs start. Especially since home Hawks games are blacked out. :mad:

    I like the new rules though. Anything to reduce the stoppages is fine by me.

    I don't really understand the new goaltender rule though. They can't play the puck behind the goal outside of the designated zone? What happens if they do?
