    Great idea for an article.

    I have worked from home for years. I listen to all kinds of music. I also relocate myself around the house with my laptop. I find a change of scenery makes a difference.

    When I really want to switch it up, I take my laptop to a coffee shop for the afternoon.

    I do exactly the same, changing "office". I've set up 3 small work areas in my apartment and just like you, I like to go out in the afternoon for a cup of coffee, beer or whatever and see some people. It can get some what lonely working alone ;)

    Skype, Spotify, lots of cups of tea all help to keep me sane(ish).

    My worst habits when at home office - constant snacking.
