Some hydrogen-drops for the ear. Guess you can get them over the counter.
Its a sparkling feeling (a kind of itching too) but that really cleans your ear. Put then some cotton wool in your ears.

    get this in ya

That is quite possibly the best scotch on the planet. I can drink it straight and I am not a drinker. It's a smooth scotch with a sweet after taste and a hint of oak, perfect. Now if I can just find a dp'er in Scotland to pick it up and hand deliever it to me ;)

Oh and if it doesn't cure your sore throat and earache you won't much care after 1/4 of a bottle.

Same here. I like people to laugh and then stop and say "wait what is he talking about" and then laugh some more.

Gargling pure whiskey works for me. I spent 1999 stocking up for Y2K and one item was bottle of whisky. I also bought an oil lamp. Was so afraid of it took it outside to light it. Got it lighted and then wondered how do you turn one off. I truly had never seen oil lamp used before. I did figure that one out.

Do you think these two are related? The whisky and having trouble with the lapm? ;)

Infidel ducks? I didn't know they had religion!

    Well, I guess that's why they're infidels.
