Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming...and I've been depressed. Not sure why but I just decided I needed to cheer myself up with a batch of cookies. I'm munching on them as I write this hoping for their sweet medicinal goodness to kick in any moment.

I'm sort of a baking fanatic, but it's been awhile since I made choco chip cookies.

Last weekend I made cinnamon apple empanadas, and the week before that I made Italian Marsala mascarpone strawberry parfaits. Can you tell I use to be a caterer in my other life?

I need to start a food website.

I think I've burned out my brain cells. I dreaming html and serp numbers.

    *sigh*

Sounds good, I had a task at hand to bake peanut butter cookies for someone who did not want them but figured I could work my charms and make him eat them, but it seems it won't be happening so I need to find a new plan...

Kalina Seduction 101.... runs to start a new site.... :p

Good thing my daughter can't read yet, or she'd be dragging me to the kitchen now. She loves making cookies.

Well I have to admit I did have fun the other night. A new friend came over and made us an amazing Japanese dinner of Okonomiyaki...AND he brought a pottery cask of Shochu.

It was like having an Iron Chef special in my own kitchen. I just let the guys go at it and drank to my hearts content. I had a cooking lesson, dinner party, and 2 personal chefs all rolled up into one evening.

    Now that's seduction! :p
