Host is down, I cant stop clicking refresh!

    My host has been down for over 2 hours now, and as long as my host is down I can't get myself to do anything but sit here and click refresh :eek:

    Every time I contact support they will me within the hour. I've been thinking of going to a new host anyways this might be the final nudge.... Anyways just thought I'd vent :mad:


    Maybe someone will share some other down time stories with me :p

    I'm with aplus now on this site, and I think they do own the data center.

    Since I have signed up with them I have read all kinds of bad things. But this is my first problem I've had with them.

    Only thing I know about aplus is that they cold call a lot of businesses and that is something I don't really like.

    Ya I've read alot about their cold-calling... I've never got one, but I guess thats all it would take for me, one cold call from a company to never host with them.

    thanks fryman, I'll add that one to my list... They have some pretty good prices. (I went to bookmark the site and forgot that all my bookmarks are saved on my site thats down :()

    I'm with handsonwebhosting.com and I'm happy with them.

    Use InternetSeer.com to monitor your site - their free option is good - and email their reports to your hosting company after every outage with a "please explain". I know mine aren't impressed that I "see" every little outage!
