HostGator Is Worst Hosting Service

OMG all of a sudden they suspended my account!

I just created a support ticket to see why


the guy in live support said
this is life support's answer:
Ricardo: Your site was generating too much traffic. Please e-mail to resolve this.

But thats funny. The only site I have that anyone goes to is the mj one and since i got the host gator account, not even 50 people have been online. Mostly due to their servers lagging.

I didn't want to believe it but they do suspend accounts and make up some lame reason.


my google analytics report says i only had 222 visits and 1,557 page views since i've been with them which isn't much and if that brings down aserver, then they completely suck.

I'd hate someone tocreate an account with them for a site that someone actually goes to.

Funny turn around in this topic huh?

 

There server is VERY slow right now. Can you show me your stat you mean you have 1557 in a few hours?

 

I contacted their support the other day because their server was loading slow. i hated it.

I got 1557 page views in like 2 days, which isn't much. Especially for a site that has a forum.

remember these aren't unique hits or anything.
i just checked google again and for some reason the hits went up a little bit, i dont know how since the site has been down and replaced with a "suspended" page.

did you have a download or video or something? Maybe he ment power?

 

For my personnal experience there are good guys and I had many times very quick responce in the past when I faced any problem.

Now I have my own server and I don't use them any more but I have only good words for them.

 

I've had a site on their shared hosting that got 10,000 uniques in one day and they didn't do anything. I also do a lot of PHP testing on their servers. Maybe I'm just lucky?

 

10GB is not high on the bandwidth totem pole.

Something doesn't add up, that's for sure. I agree with you.
