    They have an advanced affiliate program, but some said they were partners with spyware firms.

    I have heard bad reports on them from many folks on forums, poor technical and customer service support.

    Cyanide, I do not know the answer to your question. A friend mentioned today that he was looking at them.

    From time to time I have seen posts made by members on their hosts and wonndered if anyone had any input on this one. I personally think testimonials on hosting site are worthless. :)

    You're right, onsite testimonials can only be taken with a grain of salt.

    It's pretty important, IMO, to find out what requirements you have in order to know if a host will fit your needs...

    Space, bandwidth and price can't be the only determining factor.
    For example if you plan on running dynamic, php websites.... some hosts have php set to safe-mode, which inhibits many popular php scripts.
    Others have Apache restrictions and still others will hijack (in various degrees), your domain name.
