Looks like this is a thread to bring attention to your website. If you have such amount of traffic as you claim, I don't know why you would need to post your URL here to adversite your site.

bring attention? why would i want to advertise my site to people discussing google ads? my site is a specific car site and i get plenty of traffic. all i want is some reviews of my ad placement as the title says.

I think the ad placement on your homepage is really nice. I think you have a pretty decent CTR from that unit?
You might wanna experiment with the link color though.. my finding is that an outstanding color works better (haven't tried that in combination with images though)

On the forum: just experiment a little with link colors and formats, but I think your ok there as well

Your ads look fine to me. Perhaps you should change the colour of the ads on the home page and make it stand out a bit. The forum segment is nice.

yeah, or blue. It is commonly assumed that blue works the best, cause that's the default link color.
    I'm testing that out right now.. ( http://www.seo-portal.com/category/adsense-integration-test/ )
