    I have a small HTML site and i want to add a blog to my website and then use adsense. i have the site ready and the adsense code put in. however, i want to add a blog.

    how can i add a blog to my site? is there anywhere i can download a blog creating software? are these for free?

    i am a novice at website designing, any help would be appreciated. thank you.

    You could either do a manual install, with a software such as wordpress (www.wordpress.org), or if you have cpanel, there should be some blog software in Fantastico for you to use, which will install itself
