    you should have imagination and do googling for tutorial, you'll found a lot there.
    imagination for the logo inspiration, PS tutorials for developing skills. good luck.

    For designing in photoshop you can read tutorial via searched from google and youtube. Both are very helpful for photoshop designing.....

    Firstly you have to know basic skill of photoshop. There is no alternative way to learn logo design. you may help from youtube.

    For logos i recommend Illustrator . Photoshop is good but bitmaps don't cut it for logos .

    First you need Illustrator to design logo, Also you need to good in handling the tools that comes with practice.
    Get to know for whom you are designing the logo, what's there product is about, then go for drawing logo on paper.
    The logo should be Simple, Memorable,Timeless,Versatile and Appropriate.

    You might want to take the approach by taking a look at a lot of YouTube Tutorials. A lot of people can't design great logo's in photoshop, most of us tend to use Illustrator. Play about with the text, and different techniques that you have already learnt.

    I thing coreldraw easier than photoshop to create logo. Photoshop is special working in pixel and Coreldraw is special working in vector. Mostly logo leads to vector. Others, coreldraw is easier than photoshop for first user.
