    use spesial programms to animate...
    or just use php code to change pictures at time

    its seems that image ready is no longer supported so its obvious that there is other adobe software which does the same thing any idea?

    I make animated gif banners with GIMP. it's very simple just do a google search: "how to make animated gif with GIMP" and it'll show you.

    Buy Adobe CS3 and ImageReady is incorporated into that. It doesn't come as a standalone application anymore.
    U can use the 'Animation' window in the CS3 to create gifs. :)

    I used to create animations in flash and then export them as pictures, import those pictures in ulead gif and turn them into gif animation. It was a long and hard process.

    you can use flash, photoshop, fireworks, or gimpy. If your looking for more direction I found a website peepinmymind.com that had a helpful tut on creating one in photoshop.
