How can I impove my blogs?

I have two blogs (http://pastandfutureclimates.blogspot.com/ and http://climats.blogspot.com/). This month I have a total of about 500 page impressions but my income is still 0.

How can I improve them?

build backlinks so that you will have decent traffic visiting your site.

 

Try big ad blocks like...Large rectangles..

 

Ok my experience with blogs, keep them up to date, make sure that its a subject etc that people will like, a snazzy easy to navigate navigation bar helps, and mix it up. Don't just ramble on about 1 subject for the rest of your life people lose interest fast. I personally like Wordpress, you may find others better, but i found the way wordpress was put together along with easy to install themes really helps. I just launched mine like 1 week ago and im seeing 1000-1500 a day already and i havent started any sort of traffic campaign etc on it, basically word of mouth is working really well. Like Jeffr0x says backlinking is the bomb. Heres a hint, signatures in forum posts help as well. Googlebots cant find you if your not listed anywhere. Also some site submissions to the search engines(don't post to many times at one, they'll blacklist your site as a spammer), maybe get yourself a safelister that has proof of signups (like 200+ in one week) Wink Wink Nudge Nudge. keep updating ur blog and post on other sites.

 

Usually 500 impression should at least land you at about 2-5 clicks. I'm not sure where your traffic comes from but try to aim for those targeted ones coming from search engines.
