    Hello!

My main competitor has a BEAUTIFUL and VERY user friendly Ecommerce Store.

How Can I know what system/script/software is he using?

    Regards,

    Chewie.

    1. Ask him. 2. Search on google for the scriptname/software or whatever he is using.
If you look at his site, and when you "want" to order something there should be a © sign at the bottom
or something like that with the Company name. Google the name you might find the software/script he is using.

I guess the best is to ask him. Not only what he uses but what he thinks about it and would he recommend it...

Of course, another way is to see the link when you place order or add item.

Go on the site and act as if you are planning a purchase. Go thru the steps required and then cancel before the last steps of making a payment.

Try to check footer to see for any backlink to the CMS used.
Also have a look at the source code to see if you can find anything.

Last option would be to frankly ask him, otherwise just consider it to be self coded cart.
