How can I use the social networks to generate traffic for my site?

I want to know how can I generate traffic for my sites/blogs

using social networks like

facebook, twitter, etc....

 

Spam, Advertise, ..

 

Twitter is simple really –find and follow people who are interested in what you have to offer!

 

Some main points to consider are

• Bookmarks your posts on Social Bookmarking Sites
  
• Keep Connect with Other Like-Minded People
  
• Make Friendship with Strangers to Make a Large Network of Connections.
  
• Add Social Bookmarking Buttons / Widgets to your website.
  
• Leave Valuable Comments and Reviews to others posts.
  
• Always use a title That Catch the Reader’s Eyes

 

Do regular tweets about your site in twitter, to improve the conversation rate of the traffic you should have followers from your niche.

 

I use them to meet people and befriend them then gain their trust then get them interested in my site. It's helpful if you have a wide network of friends as they will suggest to their friends if they like you or think your site is good. Don't spam though that just loses traffic for you, and you will lose friends.

Regularly do bookmark of your content and Blogs and news on Good SMO site like twitter , Digg , FeceBook , Stumbleupon , Delecious...
Make more friends and join communities related to your site topic..

Pearlgurl is on to something. But I'd like to add to it a bit. Stop trying to promote your product and start spreading ideas. Creativity is one of the most rewarded commodities on the net. Try making something that is really interesting for people to read or watch. Give it away for free- but put your link in it somewhere so people can click if they want to.
