Join groups, its an good idea..social networking sites play a vital role to generating traffic.

 

Social site allow you to send friend requests and then they can pass that information onto their friend. Very useful.

 

I send every blog post to my social networking sites and this seems to automatically add new followers to my accounts. I have noticed an increase of web traffic on my blog as well by doing this. However, before doing any of this make sure that that your followers are really targeted people, not simply just friends and the like. If you tweet info to targeted followers they will make it to your website and even link to you.

 

Twitter is a great social network no mater what niche you are in, and Twitter is used as a MAIN source of driving traffic..... and abt facebook if u are promoting products related to affiliate marketing or making money online then I wouldn't recommend facebook, but that doesnt mean u shouldn't use facebook to drive traffic, create a fan page in facebook for your blog or site... but if you are promoting products where people are constantly searching for new pictures then facebook can be a great source of traffic

for example - i had a blog related to tattoos, i created a fan page in facebook and added 2 or 3 tattoo pics to the fan page everyday (when ever sumone comments or likes a post, it shows up in their friends homepage as well) for abt 6 months and after that i had almost 8000 fans, so i was able to get a quite a no of visitors from that facebook page alone

but like i said if u promote products related to SEO or affiliate marketing then Twitter is far better (there are many affiliates in twitter), just share great tips or links (no spam) on ur twitter status and in no time u will have a lot of followers...

Obviously Facebook.com is the best way to get a lot of organic traffic but I would say to use Digg.com effectively. If you do, i think you will get a huge change in your site traffic.

Hi. You can post or promote something about your site in social network site. Its a matter of how you will promote your site and interact with the people who are connected with you. Try to communicate or interact with them to gain their trust. And from there, it would be easy to spread info and updates about your site.

 

add as much friends as u can form the related country and share your thoughts with them
