how can start a online store?

I have some extra time and i need some extra bucks. So i am planning to have an online store. But i don't have any product to sell in e-bay or other site. How can i open an store and sell other companies' product? Like a reseller. Plz help. I have a verified pay-pal account. i have some basic knowledge on web-designing and SEO. help plz.

 

Why don't you try giving amazon.com a try...

Or just search any Search Engine for "ecommerce stores"

 

why do not you try drop shipping business in a way? maybe you can do it. You sell and manage your customers, while the dropshipping just send the stuff.

I think you need to think carefully about your approach. Starting an online store is not easy unless you have the right contacts with suppliers and the right product selection in place.

Check out a script called Shopperpress. Sounds like just what you're looking for. You can sell your own products and mix in ones from Amazon.

 

If you would like to run a store you will need

1. an ecommerce store. there are plenty of good stores like Zen-Cart, osCommerce, and magneto. find one you are comfortable with. i have had great experience with zen-cart
2. Find a wholesale supplier or dropshipper. a source for drop shippers depends on what kind of product. try dhgate.com for cheap chinese products; they have about everything to choose from
3. make sure you are following pci compliance guidelines and the local laws of your area.

Check affiliate marketing. This is the whole process of using links to redirect to products as the middle man. I have heard of people making mega-bucks using this method of online entrepreneurship, but it is pretty risky if you don't know what you are doing.

You can try dropshipping just buy from Dhgate and alibaba and sell on ebay but be careful to choose suppliers only with ALOT of GOOD feedback!

A good thing my friend does is base it on Wordpress then add your PayPal links

i ve just migrated from bangladesh to USA. I though I could do something when I would be in USA. Anything to do? I am not expert in any trade but jacks of many trades. that's the problem.
