How do I get the highest bidding sponsors to show up?

I wrote this site specifically for a keyword phrase. One that won't be too difficult to guess.

    http://apply-for-mortgage.50webs.com

But, when I look at the ads, none of them are the ones that show up for that keyword phrase as sponsored ads in google?

What can I do to get adsense to recognize the phrase I want it to place ads for?

    Thanks

P.S. Any other thoughts on the site would be greatly appreciated.

Relevant, but not relevant enough. These are the lower paying ads for the word mortgage alone. I want the ads for apply for a mortgage to show up.

    Does that make sense?

they look relevant to me unless you are specifically trying to target the phrase, 'apply for mortage'. Your page appears to be keyword spamming. You have that phrase listed about 20 times on one page of content. I didn't even bother counting how many times it appeared on your other page.

Sorry, I don't care for 'made for adsense' types of sites.

The content, although keyword driven, is relevant. Once my affiliate banners are put up there it will become clearer.

My keyword density is lower than 10% which is far from spamming.

However, I thank you for your input.

Okay, maybe I was being alittle dramatic about the spamming thing. That is just how it looked to me. :p

Is your site no finished yet? Maybe that is why I am confused. Your 'apply for a mortage' link just clicks back to the same page. Why? Also, the purpose of your page is to provide 5 mortgage resources. Where are these resources? Are those the affiliate banners you plan to input onto the site?

Anyway, I think it may be hard to get that specific for adsense ads on your site. The ones you currently have are relevant as they are, just not as targeted as you would like. And, if you created this page because that particular term has high bidding sponsors, it may be hard to get those ads on your site since it is probably very competitive. They usually reserve those high paying sponsors for top sites in the field. Atleast, I think they do. I could be wrong. Good luck!

AdSense wasn't made to put out ads for specific phrases, it puts out ads for whatever the page is about. Neither AS nor Google have any way of knowing "apply for mortgage" is your key phrase, nor do they care.

They're going to see words like mortgage, brokers, loan, research, computer and shoppers and serve up ads on those words.

Also, the ads served is going to depend on what AS has in the first place. I'm sure there's 100 times more ads for "apply for loan" than there are for "apply for mortgage". AS will show ads for what it considers most relevant + that will pay the most + according to your traffic.

I can see an ad for mortgage, the others are for loan and some are specific to the country I'm living in, but what you have to keep in mind is that many adwords advertizers don't display their ads on the CONTENT network (that is AdSense publishers) because of fear of fraud clicks. So you are not seeing the same ads as in the Search network.

Wow, you guys and gals are great. This is some great info.

As far as the link right back to the same page. I am in the process of writing dozens more pages for mortgages and loans. All of which will link to each other. All of those links will be placed in that section. For now, though, that's the only page I have up.

Just wait till the end of the week, there should be dozens more in there.

Yes, the affiliate links are the resources that I will be providing. I know that most people wouldn't do it, but I actually am taking the time to read through all of the sites and programs before deciding which 5 or so to go with.

    I have already picked 3.

    Thanks Again

OK, affiliates have been placed on the main site. Hopefully this goes as planned.

Also, I have started seeing some more targeted ads on the adsense....happy.

Thanks again for all the input.

I'd recommend making your text a bit bigger.

Is your site getting much traffic?

Lol - I'm not surprised why you thought it looked spammy... The keyphrase do really stand out as it's the first words for the title, header, etc... :D

I have to agree with the suggestion on increasing the text size - it's pretty small. Personally I tend to use 10pt :)

Also you might consider placing a horizontal ad unit between your first article and your second one etc...As it seems to have a layout very similar to blogs (are you using a blog script?) you might find this article useful.

I know it says this is for forums but I can't seem to find the one for blogs!
