    Look at what more experienced sites in your niche are doing. If you're articles are as good, if not better, then you're doing it right.

    The best way is to look at your concurrence - successful sites in your niche. Try to have similar content, but not identical and it would be perfect if you have some extra service.

    Install Google Analytics and see how long they stay on your pages... I would think that would be a decent indicator.
