How do I place an ad under my navbar in google?

    I just found out that it's against google's TOS to hide the navbar. Well that was the only way I could get an ad to show up on top because the navbar would cover it up. Where in the code on google blogs do I want to put the code for the ad for it to show up right under the navbar at the top of my blog.
