You can use ppc, social network sites, banner ads or free traffic methods like article marketing, seo, etc. It will all depend on your offer, market, budget, time, etc.

I like your site! Personally, I don't think you can go too wrong with a strong PPC campaign. As Anwaraa stated, it does depend on your budget and time.

 

You can always start by SEO optimizing it first and then submitting it to search engines, social media etc. Make a few videos also and post them on You Tube and other places.

 

Some tips:
- Only use one H1 header on a page
- Create a robots.txt
- Either redirect the non-www pages to the www pages, or the other way around
- Create some Social meda links (delicous.com, stumbleupon, twitter,facebook,link arena, mister wong)
- Create a portfolio with some examples from work you've done, to show where you are capable of

And a general tip:
Don't be shy to use money to create a good campaign. Being greedy would only hurt your business at this time

Free press releases
Submit articles to article directories
Video Marketing

 

You could also spread the word locally with flyers and promotional products.
Hosting contests and giveaways on your site is another great way to get people interested.

I am new to this forum but would like comment on this thread 'cos, like you, its unnerving starting out as a newby, isnt it?
My web guy advised me to steer clear of PPC till I had done all the SEO stuff which has been mentioned above. He did say commenting on blogs is also good though tedious.

Youtube, PPC, Social Networking, PPV etc...all will work. Ensure your site is SEO optimized first though! Google 'free SEO report' and you'll see where you're at.

 

With this site - ppc would be your best bet in promoting. Business listing, registering with web directories and using business classified ads are also great ways to get exposure. All the best.
