How do I put google ads in individual WordPress posts?

Maybe this is a stupid question but how do you put Google adsense adds in individual posts in a wordpress blog? Every time I try to past Google's html for my add in a wordpress post nothing is displayed (not even an empty box). Am I doing something wrong or is this not allowed?
Any suggestions on placement? I would rather have individual ads on a few relevant posts and remove the sidebar of adds so my blog looks cleaner.

    BTW my blog is PremiumPosts.com

Thanks for the quick response. I just installed the plugin and it works great!

Any advice on add placement? Now that I can put ads in individual posts I am thinking about removing the sidebar ads or turning it into one long vertical picture add? What do you think?

OK, here's my to-do list for your site:

    1) Get rid of your duplicate referral buttons. You are currently breaking TOS:

A single referral button per product may be placed on a page up to a maximum of 4 buttons, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above. Referral buttons are considered to be ‘Google ads’ for purposes of these program policies.

    2) Blend the your ads. If you have blue links on your page, the links in your ad should also be blue (not orange).

    3) Take the "More Resoruces" label off of your ads. This also breaks TOS:

Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads.

    Here's your optimal setup:
1 160 x 600 ad unit in the middle of the left hand side
1 Firefox referral button at the bottom of the left hand side
2 336 x 280 ad units after the first two posts at the top of your page

Wow, this was a pretty good 1,200th post :)

    1) Why have the 160 x 600 ad on the left?

    2) Why Firefox referral instead of an adsense referral?

    3) How do you have 2 336 x 280 ads after the first two posts at the top? (do you have any examples of this?)

For now I just removed my all my ads in the right sidebar and moved a few things around...

    1) Left gets higher CTR

    2) Your target audience will be more likely to convert on the Firefox button

    3) It would look like:

    Post
    Ad
    Comments
    Post
    Ad
    Comments

    or

    Post
    Comments
    Ad
    Post
    Comments
    Ad
