    Man that's ugly

Great idea for a site though! From what I can gather people from around the world can register at your site and leave each other messages about various topics? And other people can reply to those messages in a virtual online conversation? It's early days but I think it might just catch on!

    Good luck!

You have too many forums/subforums. Always start small and then expand when they fill up.

You also have too many ads. Get rid of some to make the forums look less crowded.

the whole point of my site is to let users be as general or specific as they want to be. that is why i have so many forums/sub-forums and why it is a broad forum and not just a specific niche.

Too many empty forums and the place looks dead.

can i just ask what about my site is "ugly"? if you guys have any tips, i would love to hear them.

i know my site looks dead, but i just put it up a few days ago. i'm working on getting more traffic. any good ideas about how to do that? i really want to stick with having the forums as big as they are now, not reducing the site to a specific niche. thanks.
