How do you add screenshots to HTML?

I know I can capture the screen with Print Scr but it is huge. If I use Paint to shrink it , it looks horrible.

What technique should I use to make it web worthy?

Shrink it in a program (I use Paint Shop Pro) where you can increase the dpi (resolution) before you shrink it. I think I use 600 dpi.

Also Try this Alexa feed: (small and big thumbs)

MS Paint does a poor job. You can use Photoshop to reduce the size.
If you are short on cash, I would recommend you www.photofiltre.com
It's free and does a decent job. :)

Indeed, paint uses a very bad resize method. For best quality, use resample. If you want an easy to use batch image resizer, check out AutoImager. Good luck.

If you are a fan of Paint, try the new semi-unofficial .NET rewrite of Paint, done by some Washington State University students:
    Paint.NET
It has all of the very basic image manipulation tools that you would find in photoshop, and it's free. :)
