How do you create a thumnail image of your website

    Morning,

    This is probably really basic stuff - but it escapes me - if you want to just go to a web site and make a small thumbnail image of it to ref. in say a review or article - How would you capture and save it?

    I would use the PrtScr buttin on my keyboard, and then paste it into photoshop and resize it.

    Thank You jestep - am on a mac (i know) - but had forgotten about the grab application it comes with - really thought there was a online app that would just spit out a stamp size 88x31 of a web site - but what the hell was i thinking! :) lol

    Well if this was me doing this I would just do a search for the site you require on Alexa Search and it usually out puts a thumbnail of of the website, save the image or hot link it.

    You're a bit stuffed if they don't have a thumbnail though.

    go to http://www.alexa.com and put in your web address. If see the thumb, copy the image location and you can use that on any website.

    For 5 to 15 thumbnails, i use digital dutch arles image web page creator.
    It's a program especially design for cropping images for thumbnail use.
    here's the instruction:
    - click the folder (ex: 01)
    - click the first pic
    - press F7


    - click Web Pages

    FIles
    - same as source folder

    THumbnails
    - 120X150

    Click Thumbnails of top
