    On the Adsense website it says that Google gives you content related ads, mine are just about Blogger, although my content isnt. Is there anything else you need to do to get suitable ads?

    There 5 ways to get good content ads:

    1. Wait. Google's robots will find you eventually and it'll change your ads.
    2. Good title tag and good HTML naming. If your title is appropriate and your HTML directories are good (say yourblog.com/kidney/stones/kidney-stone-pain.html) you will probably get relevant ads within 2 or 3 page refreshes. I created a new blog yesterday and received relevant ads within 5 minutes.
    3. Inbound links. How people link to you matter! If someone links to me by titling the link "this site" I will e-mail them and ask them to change it to say visit this great "kidney stone" site (kidney stone being the title of the link). That way google knows I am about kidney stones.
    4. Keyword stuffing. I hate this, but some people find it works. Use the keywords throughout the site, bold face them, give yourself links to your own articles with keywords, etc. I think Google might penalize some of this though.
    5. Time (again)

    There are three things that are very important for getting content related ads:
    1-> Title of the page
    2-> Page Description
    3-> Meta tags

    Along with this a well formated and written text in the page, near the ad unit(leave some space 15px).
    This will really help.

    The google adsense spider will spider every page you display google adsense ads on sooner or later (could take up to two weeks).

    If you want to focus your ads to a specific area of your website use section targeting.

    Adsense is not displaying ads based on meta, title and domain alone.
    The content is the important factor.
