How do you get more traffic to your website?

Wow.. Sure are a lot of experts posting here...
"High quality content" is well written, helpful 'stuff', written for a human and not a search bot. It gives value to the reader (teaches them something, tells them a story, answers a question, etc) and is generally at least 400 or so words.
Basically, look at 90% of the shit written out there, then do the opposite..

yeh thats true. because many people who are writing these content frequently just read and rewrite. If you do not even know what you are writing about, how can you write something good?
What i do is to hire professional writers to write for me. I give them the topics and they write for me. That way i learn as well as generate articles to use as backlinks to my website.

 

I suggest that you just write alot of content, and also write epic posts that really over delivers on the material and that people will share. If its an shopping site then I'd do paid real life advertisements like flyers and all.

If its a general gaming community then I'd advertise by mouth.

If its an online business the I'd use AdWords

I would get a myself a blog and quality posts there. I would also prefer to create a forum to let the members stick to the website.
