Got some clicks om my webpage for some bad paying ads (10cts). I want to block the url but I don't know which ad it was. Is there a way of knowing or will I have to try some oldfashioned trial and error.

You will have to go with trial and error, but blocking an ad because it pays low does not make sense. Google displays the highest paying ad, so if you ban the $.10 cent one, it will display an ad that pays even less.

should 've thought of that. Seems I'll have to live with 10cts ads. On the bright side it saves me some time

Keep in mind the ads are triggered by the content on the page, so if your webpage is about say college loans or something, you will probably see better clicks that a very specific topic.

I know, but in my case content is more important than revenue.

I work as a freelance journalist in Brazil for the dutch media. It's quite a small niche i'm working in and my blog is intended more as a bussinesscard than a moneymaking tool.

However, like many of you who have only just discovered adsense I have become obsessed with its revenue generating possibilities. But don't worry, I'm curred now.
