Anyone know if there is a name for this drop shadow and where to find a tutorial on how to make it? Or maybe one of you guys can just tell me how to make it?

    1. Duplicate the original layer of which you want to apply drop shadow.

    2. Move that new layer few pixels down.

    3. Fill that layer with black color.

    4. Apply "Gaussian Blur" from Filters.

    5. Decrease the opacity like 40-50.

And you are done... try it :)

jahangir is right. That's the way to do it. Before you apply the Gaussian Blur though you could resize the Duplicate Layer by using Transform (CTRL/CMD + T) into a shape that suits. And 'Fill the layer with black' won't really work. What you need to do is right click the layer and go to 'Blending Options', then select 'Color Overlay' and choose black. That will make the duplicate black. Also, with the Gaussian Blur, play around with the pixel size until you get something that you like.
