For those of you selling links for multiple sites, different time periods, etc, how do you keep track of everything?

    Excel spreadsheets? Special software?

Just put <!-- Expires: Date --> if youre going to look at your code once in a while. You could also just use word or excel like you said.

Thats fine for a few sites, but many of us have 100's of pages we can sell links on. Does anyone use any software for selling/tracking link sales and exchanges for many sites?

simple txt file is doing it for me.

ServerUnion, I believe there's no software that could do that with hardcoded links.

If anyone using a spreadsheet could post a template, I'd like to see how you set it up and what data you list (link, page it's on, price, expiration, etc)

    Thanks :)

I list all of that information on an Excel spreadsheet I show the actual link, location, expiration date, and amount paid. I probably will include a column showing the email address so that I can hunt people down to renew.

I use google calender, I do one entry with all the details, then one entry on the expiration date, with a link back to the details.

I use an excel spreadsheet, but I only have a few links to manage.

If you think about it, though, isn't all adbrite/adsense/bidvertiser is a link managing program?

I could easily create a pretty simple links system to use. Have a category for each site, give it the CSS code to use, then publish.

In fact, that seems like a really good idea and I think I might do it, lol.

Excel is pretty good to use and easy to track based on date. I don't really think there is a need for any software.

I think I'll play around with Excel and try a few different layouts, and I might try Access too. Probably not necessary, but it could help later on for analysis and allow some cool "soon to expire" link alerts and such.

I used my outlook. Calendar for reminders, and task list for the details about the link, purchaser and amount.

I was using IBP and add expiration date and other details as notes. But i guess it will not be enough when my links to manage are too much..
