How Do You Submit Site To Stumbleupon or Digg?

Discussion in 'Social Networks' started by Canadian1974, Dec 30, 2008.

Hi, this might sound like a silly question, but how do you submit your own site to StumbleUpon or Digg? I hear so much about the traffic spike and the benefits but what are the steps required actually to do it? Are you even allowed to submit your own site. I want to submit my site in my signature below and see what happens. Can anyone help me do this?

    Thanks in advance!

The more sites you submit from the same domain, the less impact your thumbs up will have on SU so don't submit all your own stuff

There's a toolbar that you'll need to install on your browser if you want stumble any of your sites. You need to be logged into both though to submit your sites. Don't over do it though or they might see your site as spam.

it is not a silly question. it is the important question. submitting your own is in digg will ban you or your site url, so don't submit.
    in stumbleupon, follow these ........
    * daily stumble ( not submit ) min 50 websites.
    * daily submit min 20 sites from other websites and submit 1 from your site.
    * ask your stumbleupon friends to digg and reddit ( you want to place digg and reddit buttons ).

thats all you will get some good traffic.

I always make sure to submit other cool sites besides my own so that it doesn't look like i'm ONLY submitting my own stuff.

To get good Digg traffic, you need fun or newsworthy posts.
