How does Yahoo compute actual CPC?

    Hi:
    Google exposes the algorithm of computing actual CPC.
    current ad's actual CPC= (the next lower rank ad's rank value/ current ad's quality score)+0.01 cent.

    I cannot find such info for Yahoo.

    I thought Overture use the Max CPC you set. But yesterday I had a campaign in Yahoo and found the average CPC is less than the Max CPC I set.

    What is the algorithm of Yahoo to compute actuall CPC?

    yahoo has moved away from max bid rankings. they now utilize quality for rankings.
