If that were the case for me, I would have a serious drinking problem. :p

My warehouse is about 15 miles from me, so it takes about 20 minutes to get here by the interstate. Wish I could work from the home sometimes, but then again, I know I'd never get anything done if I did :p

I can feel your pain dude...sometimes I end up playing with the dogs, gardening, or walking over to the coffee shop before I hit the computer in my backyard studio. I might, or might not, still be wearing my pajamas. :p

See, I did the "work from home" gig for a long time but I had hard time justifying the alcohol as a work expense... Well.. that.. and sheesh.. you forget to put on clothes ONE TIME for a webcam conerence call and they get all snippy with you..

I hate this thread. I mean the measurements are in all kinds of different things.

You've got km, miles, minutes, yards, ect. I'm just trying to read for enjoyment. I'm not trying to do conversions.

Let me get out the tape measure for all those who are ANALytical (like me)

50' from my bed to the office chair

If the kids are up it may be triple that distance...

Especially if silas is up, he is too cute and fun to play with.

No more measurements. The last two just added feet and a random arm. I've never even seen Perrow. For all I know he could have some long freak arm.

My favorite measurement is "a cup of tea" that measures the distance you can walk while a hot cup of tea cools down to a nice drinking temperature

185 cm long, standard arms for that length ;) Oh wait your american, that'll be around 6ft for you then. By the way, when are you guys gonna join the civilized world where things are measured in decimal units?

Yeah I do prefer the metric system (from my science background). The numbers are so much rounder.

Don't even get me started on measurements. I just finished adding a ton of restaurant equipment products to a client site. He always has me do the conversions...sometimes that means listing capacities, which involves different amounts for weight and liquid (lbs, kilos, quarts, litres). Then we have product dimensions (shipping AND net), plus output production, and electrical. :(
