You think 30 is hot try 120!

Anyways, I think that the change is happening just not in the public eye, cause dem stupit, good fer nuttin, ill-litratit , stubern, amikons don't lika changin' -

But my chevy car I use metric tools on and this is a grandma Lumina car, not an import with a chevy badge. Plywood is more like 35/32" because it really is metric and not 3/4" thick anymore. 1/2" plywood is 13mm, but that didn't have to change any.

So eventually we will get there, gas prices won't change we will just buy it in liters or litres??? so 2.70 gal will be 2.70 a litre. (next you'll be asking us to change spellings: litre, colour, stoopid.)

I just about spit out my tea through my nose like an injit. That would have 1 oz or 2 teaspoons, or .333 ounces, or .009 litres of hot liquid scorching my nostrils. Thanks guys!

    3.7something litres to a gallon

Basically we buy a 4 litre of milk, you buy a gallon of milk

Gas is 1.00+ a litre here, so basically $4.00/gallon
But we're canadian and like to be taxed up the wing wang:eek:

math makes my brain bleed, color by numbers even gives me a headache, but that could be from smelling the paint...

Not trying to be a smart @ss or anything but if you enter all weights in say kilos and just use a template to calculate the others there shouldn't be that much work :) Unless of course you dont use a scripting language but then you'll soon become quite handy with the calculator ;)

No scripting (not my forte), but thankfully I don't do this too often, only for certain products....and of course the pay is quite lovely. It just sort of melts my brain. Thank ye oh holy Flying Spaghetti Monster for all the great cooking conversion tools online.

$2.90 or so here in Reno although trading today shows the price of a barrel came down so that may get better.

Ive been keeping the firebird parked and driving the Acura. Saves me quite a bit actually.

That sucks for tourists when they get stuck in one of those traffic circles for hours on end.

They had to dismantle a roundabout here in the Tampa area. Residents couldn't figure it out and it caused huge traffic problems LOL

I used to commute two hours a day in traffic. I almost lost my mind.

Now my commute is 10 ft and I love my job so much that it doesn't even feel like work. :D

I have to travel one hour door to door to get to University, that means 2 hours daily, I walk and then get the train or bus (depending on my mood) and then walk abit more.
