How is ebay stores?

    Hi
    If you want to start an ecommerce store (selling tangible items) quickly with a big ready market, is ebay stores is best?
    They charge $15.95 per mth for the basic package. Or alternatively, is it better to start own ecom store (can build own brand and create own affiliate program though will need to do a lot to reach out to market)?
    Any comments will be much appreciated.

    I have helped many clients get into Ebay Stores (as its one of my sites primary services - www.saversites.com )

    I was impressed with the effectiveness of the Ebay market and then again at the fee saving capacity of using the Ebay Store (saves on listing fees etc)

    I also thought this independant study on the effectiveness of Ebay Stores was pretty impressive :

    There are even some minor SEO considerations built into the Ebay Stores interface (IE select page titles, keywords & descriptions) - with some ingenuity you can have your Ebay Store ranking for fairly competitive terms.

    Although Ebay Stores are perfect for some, it may not be robust enough to accomidate certain models - but then theres always > Ebay ProStores ecommerce platform - heh :D
