How long did it take you to start earning?

Hello all,

I have a website idea for adsense, if I manage to write an page a day, publish it when I have ten pages (still adding a page every 2-3 days). Submit articles in directories, participate in forums etc - how long do you think it will take before seeing some revenue?

I know it's the same as asking how long is a piece of string, but I seriously need some motivation - any newbies who followed a plan and were successful within 3 months?

Please tell me your success stories - motivate me and others!

 

You could start earning as soon as you get one human visitor to your site (to use a hypothetical example). The easiest place to rank well in is MSN. Get some article directory submissionand start building relevant links, even if the are PR0 links with you targetted keywords in the anchor text.

 

I got same problem when I start using adsense.
Use forums. post everyday. Also, submit your articles. Use blogger. Launch 2-3 blogger everyday with unique articles. 2-3 blogger or post = 50-60 posts or blogger in month. its will give you good income with adsense. Be patience. It is the story of every newbie.

 

I started late April and earned $11 for that month. May was $145 and June about $80. On track this month for over $100.

My advice is this:

Open up a paypal account. You can join here.
Look for members who have a high posting rate. Purchase a sig link with them if they have a spot.
Keep posting yourself here and put your link in your sig. (It all helps).
After generating 1000 posts. Start offering to sell sig link spots to others and only by Paypal monthly subscription.
When your site/blog reaches PR2. Build a links directory (see how it shoud be built here.
Keep posting and also start to build links in the links directory by joinign up with linkmarket.
Soon enough your PR will reach at least PR4 and so will your links directory. If your directory inner pages reach PR2 then open an account with textlinkbrokers.com and you will start earning $5 per link they ask you to place.

One thing i would like to suggest is that make sure you write some really good articles. so that you get some loyal visitors. keep mentioning those articles in your new posts so that they don't get burried. these articles would get you some good links and some members.

 

yea the best thing is forum signature, and yea write some articles and post every day .i don't think just 2-3 will do if you want to earn die for it. if you work hard just 2-3 days you could write articles more than 100 .get some other good articles from other author if you are so lazzy ,and don't forget to give the author credits , and start posting on the forum with your good signatures .

also remember that content must be original. Don't get into habit of just linking others posts. write on your own.

 

Grossed over 1$ but it has only been ten hours. Create the motivation within yourself. Compound interest requires patience, be it money, traffic or AdSense revenue. Just coming here is inspiring for me. Try to look at the little victories.

I was really a "noob" until I bought Joel Comm's e-books, and Michael Cheney's videos (I preferred the videos). I was making my ads look like ads, and I was getting nothing a day/month.

After reading them, i was on $10 a day, and I'm glad i bought them.

How much does forum signatures help with seo

 

I like that 1.

 

I started like you.. planned on 1 or so pages per day, did SEO, promotion, etc.. i was making GOOD money after 3 months or so.. after about 9 or 10 months i was making great money..
One thing i disagree about with other posters here is that i do not believe that forum links are good for SEO, and unless your website is related to the content of the forum, i dont think it helps with traffic either.. many will disagree, but that's my opinion..

it's been several months since you made this post.. how about an update???
