    How long would it typically take before I see the ads changing. If I know the timeframe I know if it's working or not.

    According to the Google AdSense Help on the subject, it can take up to 2 weeks to take effect. If your site gets decent traffic and gets spidered often by the AdSense bot, then it should take less than this.

    recently I have added adsense to couple of new pages...
    the relevant ads started showing up in the next minute.
    I have observer the similar thing a month back also.
    Relevant ads appears in a minute...
    Well, that was in my case.. I am not sure whether always happens like this..
