How many cups of coffee do you drink at the computer

Hi all i thought i would ask this daft question but i need to hear some response as i think i drink to much coffee on a average day at my computer i drink around 20 cups is that normal or just about right as come 12 at night i start to have the shakes and start feeling like a hamster and finally crawl into my pit about 3am and feel bad the next day

I wonder if this is why i keep getting headaches i think i need to cut down on the caffeine

Anyone else drink this much coffee i thought about drinking tea ??

ummm I think you might want to cut back some, like 14 cups less a day!

You may get headaches doing this but it will be well worth it. You can drink black tea while cutting down and you will get about 20-40% of the caffiene per cup with less of the heaviness of coffee on your system. You should drink at least 1 cup of water per cup of coffee to regain the water lost, this will also help with headaches.

I have about 7-8 cups throughout the typical work day...Impossible to deal sans in the AM...

A very good chance the caffeine is the cause for your headaches...You may want to start substituting some H2o into the equation.

20 cups? Honey, for your own sake cut down. That can't be good for you! As they say; everything in moderation.

I have never had a cup of coffee in my life. I had a sip, and spat it out. I always opt for a cuppa Rosey Lee.

 

Thought OAPs drink tea thanks for your response so far i will cut down i have being trying too for a while must of got a bad habit from drinking to much coffee.

I do like a cup of yorkshire tea sometimes i might just start drinking a bit more it

OAP's? Lol..In my household tea = the answer to everything.

If I don't hear the words 'I'll stick the kettle on' at least 10 times a day, I get all shakey and start to rock back and fourth.

Friend dies, have a cup of tea.
Mother leaves, have a cup of tea.
Boyfriend cheats, have a cup of tea.
Make a hard choice, have a cup of tea.
Hate coffee, ah have a cup of tea.

I don't touch the coffee, but I am not afraid of the Diet Cokes these days. Sippin' on one right now...was getting a little slow a few minutes ago.

 

Your a tea addict thought tea contains caffine or is it just small amounts

 

Lol nah I'm not. & Yeh it contain's a small amount of caffine. I only drink it ocasionally nowadays. Well, I go through phases. I am addicted to water right now. Which can only be a good thing.

I should have stated that I drink my tea w/ 5-7 spoonfulls of sugar.
