    I think you need a lot of diggs to get on the first page. i've heard if you create a page on your site with lots of digg it icons and post it on reddit you could do well if it's interesting, catchy and informative.

    You do not really need many diggs to get on front page. Actually i have seen stories that hit front page with less than 50 digs... You are prolly wondering howz that possible ?

    Well my friend, digg does not count how many time your story has been dugg but it counts who dugg it. If you get power users to digg your story then you can be on front page with about 40 diggs...

    Also, time comes into play. If a story gets dugg 40 times in less than 5 minutes, I'm pretty sure it'll hit frontpage.

    I think the ratio between diggs and buries is a factor as well. If someone buries your story, it decreases your chance of making the front page... even if you already did get a large amount of diggs as well.
