    I work in an emergency room and many of us have developed a warped sense of humor that helps us survive the negativity surrounding the place. When I would enter a patients room I found it very beneficial to everyone to try and get a laugh out of the patient or family. As they say, laughter is the best medicine. I try to laugh as often as I can at work.
