How many hours you spend on Internet everyday?

I mostly spend 8 to 10 hours everyday. What about you?

 

36 hours a day it seems sometimes, but I am on at least 12 hours a day working on something or relaxing.

Most of the time its not hard work but we manage a few different web sites so it keeps us busy.

Lets say 4 to 5 hours from me, mostly 4 hours.

I spend way too much, probably 8+ hours on average.

 

I used to spend about 5 to 6 hours, but lately its been more like 12-15 hours a day.

16 everyday. 9 hours at work and 7 at home. This is crazy.

Around 10 hours - more or less, depending on the time I need to spend with the family and if I'm traveling. I run an online business, so it's kinda normal to be online a lot.

There was a study done by wearesocial.sg that shows the internet time spent by each country, brought to us by the internet world stats. The weighted average that came out of this study, (an average based on the number of people in each country) came out to 4.8 hours per day.

It is true that most of us are working on computers, which would increase the number of hours that we are on the internet.

Now we should contrast these statistics with the amount of time that people spend of social media.



The weighted average for world usage on social media is 2.0 hours. If we take the average number of hours that people spend on the internet and subtract the number of hours that they spend on social media, we come out to 2.8 hours spent doing something other than social media online.

This would tend to show a potential trend in online work, increasing human capital (in terms of people training), strengthening economies (because of potential increased trade).

And now the question of the day:

We are using the internet an average of 10.25 hours per day. If we are even UBER social media users (using social media 2X the world wide average) say, 4 hours, that would leave of using the internet about 6.25 hours of the day.

So now the question: are we building cool things? or are we wasting A LOT of time.

16-18 hours a day. 16 hours of working (researching, blogging, working on websites, doing internet marketing and among others) and two hours of social (chat with family/friends, surfing on my personal Facebook profile etc etc).
