    However, can anyone tell me how many total traffic should be for a blog?
    I want our experences so that I can take a suitable hosting-plan.

    The amount of traffic depends on how much promotion you do. Since this is a new blog your traffic will be minimal, and it could stay that way for many months. I would recommend getting a basic budget hosting plan that will allow you to upgrade when needed. That way you only pay for what you use.
