    Hello, i have read that to promote our blogs, we can use social bookmarking site like digg, etc....

    i want to ask, how many unique visitors that you get from social bookmarking sites (digg, etc....)?

    depents how popular your content is for example on DIGG if you have a crappy story you might get 10 hits on your site...but if you have a good story that is tech savy you can get like 20 000 uniques in a matter of hours from DIGG I have had this once...

    However, those traffic aren't targetted.

    Vistors is easier to get from stumbleupon compared to digg but of course digg will have much more vistors and it has a bigger exposure to webmasters so the backlinks gained from the digg effect is definitely much more higher.

    I actually did a small test.1 of my page got stumbled.6000 unique vistors flowed in but no backlinks gained.

    Depends on the keyword you use, DVDs, Videos, Wallpapers, Music, and other media can get high traffic from those sites

    That would depend on the subject of the cartoon. Technology cartoons might just do VERY well in Digg (provided the cartoon is actually funny).
