How many websites do you have?

Hey guys. I was wondering how many websites does everyone own. Im sure they all range from double to triple digits which is really an astonishing number. The reason I am asking this is because I want to start using adsense to make money. The only problem is I dont have any websites! I just dont see how people can manage to make so many. Dont you have to pay for each of them monthly or am I missing something?

Well first of all its not as easy as it looks. It takes a lot of hard work and time.

You pay for your website hosting whenever you want....

Oh no, Im not arguing the fact that it is time consuming, it definately is. But I'm just feeling a little suspect about it because I read about how certain people have 200 sites while other only have like 20 but they make almost the same amount. I guess that has to do with the content and time they put into it. I just dont see how you can manage so many and pay, for example, $9.99 a month for 200 sites!

Um don't be stupid. If you have your own server you don't have to pay 9.95 for all 200 sites. And 2000 a year for domains isnt that much if you make ten of thousands or even more.

There are many hosts that allow unlimited websites for a set price starting as low as $5.00 a month (asmallorange.com for example). Of course, there is bandwidth limitations. It really depends on the type of site you want to host. Some large sites pay hundreds of dollars a month for virtual and dedicated servers. If you aren't making $9.99 a month on a site, and your focus is making money, you are doing something wrong or your website theme isn't right.

My guess is that over 90% of adsense publishers don't make $100 a month. It isn't as simple as creating a new site and watching the money roll in. You should figure on a 6 month to 12 month learning curve to have a good general idea of what is needed to succeed - Not that it can't be done sooner.

Adsense is NOT a quick road to riches. There are tens of thousands of people trying to make money are you are competing against them all. The costs associated with giving it a shot are nothing compared to almost any type of other business and everything you need to know to be at least semi-successful can be found on these forums. Be prepared to commit a lot of hours to learning, and then have patience - at least six months.

Iamned, an excellent example of a very good attempt to help someone and not to bash someone. If you don't want to help, maybe the best solution would be not to respond?

    Man some peoples kids.
