How much are they charging to advertise on myspace?

Just wondering, I have made an attempt to contact them about their advertising rates and what not, this was almost 2 months ago and still no response... hmmm.. Has anyone had any such luck with them? Do you know how much they charge for a text link, banner ad at the top of page, etc.. ??

They have pretty competitive rates but you'd need a moderate to high budget to start. My host, HostGator.com buys almost all of MySpace's advertising space, which normally wouldn't make sense because 98% of their main audience wouldn't pay for webhosting, but it's worth it for HostGator because of the great rates that MySpace offers. Unfortunately I think the minimum budget is too high for startup companies.

If you find out any numbers from them post it here so everyone knows.

Thanks for the reply! I actually got an email from them today, but all it said was email us back to talk about your goals and objectives for advertising at Myspace.com. No prices or anything. I'll let you know when I get a solid answer from them.

    You are lucky they replied.
Many big companies don't even reply to mails like that unless you run a big/famous company too.

They don't waste their time on people that can only pay a few 1000 to advertise.
They want the big deal that only large companies can pay!

Yep, I heard minimum is around $3,000 up to $5million :D!. But I would never advertise in MySpace since there are so many ppl around with those automated systems to add friends that gets loads of pageviews. also, if u really wanna get some traffic via myspace u need to pay a lot...so you might actually be lucky that users look at those ads.
