How much do CPM ads pay?

I have a site that gets 3000-5000 pageviews per day, but makes less than $10 (gaming site). How much do you think I could get with CPM banners, and what are the programs that offer CPM?
Also, can I put 2 banners on each page, and essentially double my money? I'm assuming that won't work, but I just want to make sure.

 

you would not get more than 10$ a day with CPM ads.

for a video game niche, 1$/cpm would be a very, very good deal. even then you won't get a 100% fill rate.

as far as doubling your money with more ads, that depends on the individual program.

depends on the network. even when they are allowed you'll have a lot of return visitors and they won't keep serving ads to the same people over and over and over.

Powwka, you should talk with John Chow because he got invited to google special Displaying Ad Network program. He is making a lot of money for all the traffic he is generating on his site. Unlike adsense, in this program you earn solely based on CPM. And the price is negotiable.

A gaming site getting 5k views a day isn't going to qualify for any special google promotions.

You need to drive serious traffic to get into that echelon.
