    I am considering putting phpbb forums on my site Jayedad.com, and i am curious to know how much of a factor they are in seo? I would imagine that search engines love them because of the volume of content, but I don't know. Does anyone have knowledge about this ??????

    Volume of content is one good reason, regular members posting is another, but also using SEO-optimized scripts like vBulletin Board.

    I don't understand why people go for easy with phpBB when there are many other and better free forum scripts, including SEO-optimized.

    according to me vBulletin is good ine it is seo friendly many forums are using this
