how much do u charge?

feel free just to post how much you charge for various services.. just want some comparison here. This isnt the place to advertise though so leave off giving details about where to buy your services etc. (unless somebody asks )

I'm more wondering how much people generally charge for the following service to tell you the truth.

Website design for this site:
20 static pages
Fresh design
one email form
2 languages (so 10 pages each language)
all content is provided already
logo is provided
search engine optimized

My standard price is 650 USD however im thinking about changing it.

So what would u charge for that?

I'd charge £1,200 minimum, so about $2,400.

 

I've done similar jobs in Australia for about $1200

 

$1500-$2000 Depending on few other details & delivery time. But I rather prefer to offer a seo-friendly CMS instead of static pages.

oh and on as for misc services.. i generally charge about 20$ per hour for general php and website work.

and 18.75 per hour for english tutoring

 

I think that 20$ per hour is ok with me and with clients...
Btw it all depens about country that your are working from (or for)

$2000+ . 650 is a little too generous IMO

 

1200 - 1800 seems right, and of course, thoroughness and detail adds to cost. Just start with an estimate breaking down the minimum cost as described by client. Offer a range and explain changes and detail will determine the final price but stay within your range. Clients dont understand you can't just tell a car salesman "I want a car, so how much?" Budget increases details, or "optionals, bells, and whistles".

it depends on you and the customer... if you are a freelancer, i think $500 is about right. everyone can dream about charging whatever they want but will the customers bite.

if you're got good reputation or you're backed by a real company with staff and an office, then you can get customers to pay more.

in this business, it's not what you want to charge, it's what the customers are willing to pay.

Around $500 to $600 here.

 

500 $ in my opinion. All unique design ( not stealed from anothe sites )
