How much $$$ do you expect to make from a wallpapers website?

Hi Guys

I hope I am posting in the right forum.
The question is simple.
How much $$$ do you expect to make from a wallpapers website???
I am thinking to start 2 wallpaper sites and I want to know if I can really get something out of them. So, if any of you have a wallpaper site, you can give the better idea.

One more thing.
Apart from SEO, quality contents, user friendly layout & some good traffic, what is required to get some good cash? If your answer is just Heavy Traffic. Then give an idea of that too. How many unique/day?

& The last thing
Could you please post the URL of your favorite Wallpaper site??

 

oversaturated market, unless you have unique niche wallpapers

 

Rather than a sole wallpaper site turn it into a gallery of some sort! Add interactivity to the site!

Remove any sort of obligation to the user if any, like signing up, clicking on an ad, visiting some link, providing their email etc. etc.

Make use of AJAX and turn it into a whole lot of fun place to join in!

Are these wallpapers gonna be copyrighted or you create them or so ? Adsense/YPN is going to be your best bet! To get uniques, you can go for exchanging links with other sites! Banner Exchanges!

Basically, wallpapers are a very bubbly topic. So the maximum users you're gonna have is going to be teenage kids, girls and guys of a very young age! So keep your content according to them! Stay away from nudity/porn and the affiliates of the same!

Leave RSS feeds for your site and let people aggregate them ... do remember to place links to your site at the bottom of the feeds!

Go for short term buzz marketing ... Create a video tutorial on how to create a dazzling Wallpaper of a celebrity in Photoshop and upload it on Youtube!

Keep a contact form ready for anyone that finds any problems with your site!

Avoid frail DIR submissions, go for a good service!

Lastly, Apologies ... but I don't normally download wallpapers ..... I create stuff and let them stay on my desktop for a while!

I already have one site that have all types of wallpapers and have users of almost all age groups.
This time, I am thinking to have one Car wallpaper site & one Celebrity wallpapers site (Not nude but would be of certain types).

The thing is, my current site is going good with everything but I am not getting much with AdSense. So, kind of confuse if the new two will make any difference. Although I like to work on wallpaper site but I do need some money to start other projects.

The reason I asked this is
“M I the only one not getting much with my wallpaper website?”

 

The way i see a good site running is by its content. Make sure on your pages there are richi content like text and images.

I would say to get some cash going, you must receive couple of grand unique(S). Thats my experience.
