How much should I charge for building websites ?

I'm wondering what is a good pricing scheme for building web pages?
I'm mainly talking about simple, less than 10 page sites.
Could anyone offer any advice?

Personally, I do contract work so I base my price for a site like the one you're describing for about $500, but that's just me.
(Base your price on how many orders you are getting, how long it'll take you, and what sounds fair to you)

It depends on your experience, skill, the quality of your work, what you're willing to work for, who you're bidding, and your reputation.

 

Don't know if this will help you, but I charge in Brazil R$1,500 for a company web site with a contact form, map, and up to 10 pages. This doesn't include the logo, just web site creation.
