I was thinking of paying a SN manager. They would be controlling my twitter, stumbleupon, pinterest, facebook page, Squidoo, Gather, and tumblr.

What do you think I should pay a dude monthly?

You can try searching its market value on the internet so you can have an idea.
However, it will also depends on his/her experience and skills.

The creation of this topic is searching the market value on the internet....haha. I've been looking around but there isn't many people who do this sort of thing. This is why I'm asking here.

It all depends on the type and amount of posts. You can find some cheap services at fiverr and freelancer.com

    Hope this helps.
Wouldn't personally recommend 'cheap' services as what you get in return is also cheap. When you assign a person the responsibility to handle your social media, your online reputation comes in picture which is very crucial for the expansion and growth of your business. No one would certainly want a 'cheap' guy to tamper with theirs. And someone who can do it expertly will not charge low.

It depends upon various factors like his skill, the results and how much work he is doing, you should look for current market value of social media marketer.

That link above is far too unrealistic. I assume they are talking about large corporations like General Electric or Sony. If I was big enough to throw $40K to someone then I wouldn't be screwing around in this forum asking here.

There is a fix pay for every social network manager but the main thing what is the work done by your manager. There are having certain range of managers, it will depend on the profile of a manger that how much you will pay to him.
